It's a lunch option, only available Monday through Friday between 11 am.and 2 pm. Cost is $12.99 and includes kitchen food but limited options.
No, they dont.
very quiet and love the food selection specially the "crazyboy roll" if you like deep fried sushi
Great food, excellent service, good value, excellent experiences and wonderful atmosphere.
Quan and team really do a phenomenal job under these circumstances of take out only.. They do have a nice outside garden to visit while they prepare your dinner.. Generous portions for the money..You won't be disappointed!
The food was good in taste. I placed a pick up order consisting of vegetarian sushi. I would order here again!
Tried sushi in multiple cities across the US and keep coming back here. Great prices and the best sushi I’ve personally had.
The sushi was good and service was excellent. Out of everything we had I loved the peach crunch dessert the most!
Very wonderful place! Food was great!
Great food, fast service and reasonable prices given it's downtown. Like this restaurant the best over the other half dozen across greater Omaha I've tried
Great selection and service. Food is prepared fresh and always a great visual display of chosen items. Fabulous lunch specials during the week
This place is SOOOO good. Love the attention to how the food looks. Been there a few times and always great service.
Happy hour selection is great!
It’s a nice little restaurant that reminds me of places in Japan (could use a little updating though). I went on a Tuesday so it was pretty empty. Nonetheless, the sushi was good and the waiter was very nice and polite. Only complaint is the sushi menu, it was way to big!
Not bad for the price. I had the all-you-can-eat lunch special for $14. The sushi was pretty good but nothing to write home about. It was mostly fresh. It was prepared in a way that was okay. it was not the fanciest plating I have seen.. Nothing spectacular here but it's a lot of sushi for a good price.
I can't get enough of this place. BEST IN TOWN. I have been to all of the sushi places in omaha and this is seriously the best tasting and best value. GREAT service.
This place is a go-to for me downtown, mainly for the price. You can get 1 spicy salmon sushi roll for 5.50 plus tip and it comes with 6 hand crafted pieces, ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce. For 8 bucks you can get the 2 roll lunch combo -- I usually go for California/Salmon. It comes with choice of soup and choice of salad - I get miso, and carrot ginger for the salad dressing. 5 stars -- go get some sushi, you might see me there!
Amazing Sushi. My favorite Sushi spot in town.
Matsu Sushi- Quiet, friendly Old Market hidden Gem on Farnam South of Mall Construction. Not so buzy because of construction reducing Foot traffic. Still open. Check it out. Usually no wait.
It's been a couple of years now, but I had searched for a well-recommended sushi place during my three week stay in Omaha, and had some here. It was the most disgusting Sushi I had ever had, and this is even after I had tasted London's Yo-Sushi disasters. If I haven't had any sushi anywhere maybe without the wisdom I'd give them a single star, (shame I can't give any less), especially after I have tasted the sushi in Tokyo and surrounding areas, I can confidently say this was a truly disgusting experience.
Quiet place, private. Excellent service. Easy menu to navigate. Delicious, classic and unique sushi - raw, cooked and veggie varieties. Beautiful presentation. Good place to go alone or with a group. Prices are moderate. If you love sushi, you won't be disappointed. There is also a menu of hot meals. We didn't try it but saw others order delicious looking bowls of food.
Best sushi I've had in Omaha. The Udon was also very good!Staff was friendly.Parking was amble.Seating is nothing fancy but it's comfortable and works.
Seafood is fresh, service is one star, and food not very authentic.
Another great dinner! Always fresh and creative. Highly recommend.
5 stars are not enough on a date and they may not like sushi then you have teriyaki chicken beef bento boxes and more, if your on lunch 15 dollars gets you a all you can eat meal.
I love this place. delicious food. reasonably priced. nice service. and local owners! Can't beat it.
So yummy, great price, great service!
Delicious and conveniently located
I eat here sometimes 3x a week. The food is delicious and the prices are great. I recommend this spot to everyone!
Best sushi in town (Omaha, NE). Our family enjoys eating sushi at this restaurant. The owners and servers are so polite and courteous. Most of the time we love ordering bento and sashimi deluxe.
Ordered a vegetarian roll because I can’t eat meat and they gave me the wrong roll with meat and I couldn’t eat any of it and still made me pay for it. It was supposed to be only about $4.50, but he charged me for a $12.75 roll. My friend ate hers and said it was very good but they need to work on their customer service and their ordering process. I hope later when I give it another chance they do it the right way!
Spicy mushroom soup is really good and had a nice kick. Salmon teriyaki was OK, California rolls were good, carrot-ginger dressing on salad was tasty.
Good food, and great service!
Great food with friendly and fast service. 👍👍
Great service with an easy to read menu. Beautifully presented food that tastes just as good as it looks!
Wonderful experience. Food was amazing. Decor was beautiful. Kamala, you were great!
Decent. Quick and convenient to the airport.
Amazing sushi and insanely cheap especially considering the quality! Not far from the main downtown area either. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re ever in Omaha
Love this place! Yummy sushi and very kind staff! Prices are very reasonable.
High quality sushi that is made at a sushi bar in the front of the store which you can sit at if you would like. I enjoyed the Bento Box which came with tempura vegetables/shrimp, four pieces of sushi, teriyaki chicken and steamed rice. Tons of food for under $20 and it is presented very well too.
I ordered the roll with eel on top , it was my favorite . Everything was fresh , great service , nice atmosphere. It was an enjoyable meal !
Very lovely hidden gem. Huge menu and courteous staff. Unlike modern Americanized places like Blue sushi, this is a quiet, highly authentic experience.
Pretty awesome place. Even for someone who has never ordered sushi before! XD staff is super helpful with explaining which is which!
Food and presentation was great. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
Yummy sushi and great service! I loved their hot and sour soup as well as their captain's special roll!
Authentic and quieter than the other Old Market Sushi spots. Matsu is my favorite among more popular joints like Blue, Hiro or Tokyo. The portion sizes for sushi are better, but price is about the same. Service is better overall, but there are a few language barrier issues from time to time. The other places are more modern, loud or have an all you can eat options, but Matsu carries an atmosphere of a sushi/Asian restaurant with all the character you'd expect.
A great local and family owned restaurant. The father son team are Japanese and it shows in the quality and selection of food. If you care more about the food than being trendy this is the place to eat sushi down town.
This place was a small hidden treasure that my husband and I found on our wedding anniversary. We shared the chef's choice and received 6rolls of sushi for $50. They were some if the best sushi chooses for us and we enjoyed them very much. We will be going back.
Glad that I chose this little place in the middle of many restaurants in old market area. I eat sushi a lot and can tell the fish they use is very fresh. I love the taste of the rice - there is a touch of sweetness in it that brings out the flavor of the fish. Nigiris are very well pressed and shaped as well. Owner is very friendly and sweet - gave me a little chocolate after a kind conversation.😍
I can't say enough about this restaurant the owners and the food are both fantastic. Go here in Old Market if you like real deal Japanese cuisine. The sushi is top notch forget Blu sake that happens to be just around the corner but it just doesn't compare with taste or the price plus Matsu has a happy hour for sushi around 12 to 2 I believe unless it changed. You can watch them make your sushi rolls here at the bar and they actually wash their hands and prepare things fresh and timely without sneaking frozen stuff into the microwave like other restaurants do.
Nice little sushi place. Went on a Friday evening and got great service. Waiter was very knowledgeable. Large variety of rolls. We ordered 4 rolls and they were all very good. I plan on returning.
This location had a really cool walk up to the door. The prep sushi maker was really friendly. He makes excellent quality plates with high end looks for lower price. If your in Omaha in the old market by the slides check it out.
